We're up and running strong!

The Lady Gladiators had one fantastic summer! We started recruiting at our local middle schools back in May with approximately 80 interested girls signing up and requesting try-out information. About 40 girls actually came for try-outs in June and overall we had 30 girls participating in our Summer Volleyball Program as AAU members!

This years program ran for seven weeks and was geared towards beginner, intermediate, and advanced players. Practices and scrimmages were held at the Maryland Juniors Volleyball Club in Jessup, Maryland. Lady Gladiator coaches focus on fundamental skill development, including serving, passing, setting, hitting, and serve-receive techniques, We also offer volleyball clinics for individual skill training and team competition.

Most importantly, we encourage positive attitudes and good sportsmanship, and we stress the importance of teamwork. We believe "knowledge is power" and we want our players to have access to all the current and interactive resources available to assist parents and prospective student-athletes with information needed to make an informed decision about what’s required to pursue their dream of playing college sports.
