MD District Welcomes NEW Volleyball Sports Director and Program to our AAU Family!
The Maryland District AAU proudly welcomes the WE BUILD - YOU PLAY Sports Group to our AAU family!
WE BUILD - YOU PLAY was founded in 2008, created out of a desire to offer a grass-roots sports program which would provide kids on the East Coast a chance to compete at the highest levels of competitive play. With our experience in establishing five thriving youth sports clubs and numerous successful sporting events, WE BUILD - YOU PLAY knows what it takes to build a structure that will allow you to play.
The direction and goals relating to the Volleyball program in general are to continue to provide kids with the opportunity to compete at the highest levels of competitive play as well as branch out. The newest locations are in Savannah and Cincinnati.

Meet the Coach!
Hi, I'm Coach Jordan Gibson!
I am the Head Volleyball coach as well a Spanish teacher at Glen Burnie High School! I’ve been playing volleyball my entire athletic career. I played travel volleyball for BAVA, Velocity and Charles County Juniors all clubs in the area, when I was coming up through middle school and high school.
I played my whole 4 years at Southern High School and was on Varsity for three years which led to Captain my senior year. I managed summer clinics for the girls on my high school team and incoming freshman, so we could workout, and play over summer.
I then went onto play at the collegiate level at Albright College where I played all four years also becoming Captain my senior year. I graduated from college in 2015 and went right into coaching. I coached at Bishop McNamara for two years ending in winning seasons both years. I came to Glen Burnie High School and took our team from one win within 10 years to winning four for this season. This past winter I coached alongside Kameron Beans for CEVA a travel team. We assisted eight seniors off to play for Division I/ Division II volleyball program.
